This Sunday (2nd November) we’ll be at our first ever Food Fair at Wallasey Village from 10am ’til 2pm, at St Mary’s Catholic College. The Wallasey Food Fair aims to bring fresh local produce to local residents at fair prices for both buyers and traders, and this month the organisers have chosen to support The Wirrall Food Bank. There will be a raffle held with all proceeds going to the Food Bank, and the charity will be accepting food donations, and are encouraging visitors to bring along tins and packets of food to give away.
We’re especially excited to meet The Maple Cakery, whose homemade decorated cupcakes and biscuits look super scrumptious, and can’t wait to sample some yummy vegetarian delights from the Real Food Cookery Club! As well as stunning bakes, preserves, choccys, coffees, and cheeses; this month there will be a lovely selection of craft stalls at the fair, and we will be there selling our beautiful vintage inspired hand crafted leather satchels!
To find us at Wallasey Food Fair, there are train services every 15 minutes into Wallasey Village railway station, or by car: Leave the M53 at junction 1, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A554. Merge onto Leasowe Rd/A551 via the 2nd exit ramp to Wallasey. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and you will see St Mary’s on your right. Turn right through the gates to the car park.
